Analysing large sets of data. Analysing trends, identify patterns, cross-analysing information and capturing and compiling of results.
Part of the Product Architecture team. Worked directly with Product Owners. Contacted Medical Aid schemes to acquiring the yearly price changes for the medical products.
Provided customer support for clients. Assisted by troubleshooting queries for several Medical Products: MedEDI, Practice Perfect, PMO. Created service tickets using SAP ERP. Reported bugs that were discovered and followed up with Product Architecture. Provided feedback to clients on various queries.
This was a Microsoft Data Science Skills Program. Became acquainted with the Microsoft Azure system. Learnt Virtual Machines and allocate resources to it. Shown how the ETL process, how data gets transformed, transferred and displayed.
While I worked at The Computer Guyz, I attended a seminar a 1-day workshop hosted by Craig Pederson.
The focus of the course was Open Source Intelligence and Digital Investigation.
I assisted with a project where I was tasked with capturing results, analysing patterns and trends
Reviewed bug fixes that came from Quality Assurance.
Released the bug fixes in the form of updates.
I assisted with an annual pricing project.
Made use of programs i.e JIRA, Confluence.
Provided specialised support for CompuGroup Medical SA's clients.
The clients were individuals in the medical industry.
I gave support for MedEDI, a billing and claims processing software.
There were several other software products that I assisted with.
From primary school to now, I have been exposed to different operating systems and the various isssues that can arise.
During my internship, I learnt how to investigate, diagnose and solve computer, network and software - related issues. I am able to provide help on various operating systems and can troubleshoot both hardware, software and networking issues.
This is my favourite part of development.

I am currently completing a Udemy course that will help to upskill me
In my second year of college, I created an application that utilized C# and ASP.NET MVC.
The purpose of the application was to display data results that the user would search for.
I would like to upskill myself in software development.
During my second year of college, I was introduced to Databases.
For a particular project one of the requirements was to connect the application to a MySQL database.
During my time at CGM, I was able to see the databases and execute a few queries to assist with reviewing and support.
